Diego is currently the founder of Irribizia Consulting, based in France India and Brazil, developing CSR and community empowerment projects. As well as PhD researcher in those countries, focussed on pro-poor solutions in waste management and community factors of engagement, from management perspectives.

Over the past four years he collaborated to Social Innovation and Sustainability projects in India, at Amrita University in Kerala, South India, teaching Social Innovation, Social Entrepreneurship and setting field projects around renewable energy, in some of the most prestigious universities in Europe (Mines Telecom Paris, Paris Campus Exec MBA, EOI Madrid) and India (IIT Madras, IIM A, Nirma University, ASB Bangalore) where he is a visiting faculty.

He previously worked in Spain, Bilbao and in the UK, London as well as in Germany. Firstly as a senior consultant for Action Planning a leading consultancy specialised in the UK 3rd sector dealing mostly with strategic review, governance. Then as Senior Manager in CAF Advisory and Consulting department he sharpened his knowledge and experience of grant making projects at UK and international levels, funding, financial aspects and CSR approaches. And finally as a director of international development for the Social Innovation Park of Bilbao, promoting its new SI vision in Europe.

A strong background in supply chain management with 6 years spent with Siemens, partly in Germany and in various positions in International Purchasing completes his profile.

His practice of 6 European languages and basis in Hindi and Malayalam, besides allowing him to undertake the management of international project is a core to pluricultural and multidisciplinary involvement.

Diego is an alumnus of the Insead Social Entrepreneurship Program and holds masters in International purchasing as well as in coaching (Sophrology: tool for mental preparation, stress management).
